CERTIoT-6G

Mulini was selected for the second open call of the 6G-PATH project and, in this context, is developing CERTIoT-6G, which contributes to the validation of advanced 6G technologies and IoT services by introducing an innovative approach to automated cybersecurity certification and continuous compliance monitoring for IoT devices operating in 5G and future 6G networks.
The solution integrates Mulini’s AI-driven CertifIoT framework with the CARL-W wireless testbed at Karlstad University, delivering Security as a Service (SECaaS) capabilities.
It continuously monitors network traffic, analyzes device behavior, and verifies compliance with key cybersecurity regulations, including the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA). IoT devices deployed in critical domains such as healthcare and smart cities are connected to the 5G infrastructure, where their activity will be analyzed in real time.
The system will detect vulnerabilities, anomalous behavior, privacy risks, and non compliant configurations. To ensure robust security assessment, the framework combines passive monitoring with active testing techniques. This enables the evaluation of device resilience against real world threats, including denial of service (DoS) attacks, unauthorized access attempts, and network performance manipulation.
By embedding compliance verification directly into the network infrastructure, CERTIoT-6G transforms traditional certification into a continuous, automated process enhancing trust, scalability, and security for next generation IoT ecosystems.
6G-Path

6G-PATH is a European research project funded under the Horizon Europe – SNS JU programme, focused on advancing technologies for next generation 6G networks. The project aims to design an innovative network architecture that integrates artificial intelligence, edge computing, and optical communications to support future high capacity applications.
6G-PATH focuses on developing solutions for efficient spectrum management, latency reduction, and energy optimization in next generation networks. The consortium brings together leading European academic institutions, industry partners, and research centers to accelerate the transition toward 6G and strengthen Europe’s technological leadership in telecommunications.
Mulini is a proud member of the 6G-PATH consortium, actively contributing to research and development activities and helping shape the technologies that will enable future network infrastructures.
