Project Manager

At Mulini SRL we are looking for a talented and motivated Project Manager to join our team in Italy. In this role, you will support the planning, coordination, and delivery of high-impact research and innovation projects, working closely with technical teams, academic partners, industry stakeholders, and European collaborators. You will help ensure that project activities are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with grant requirements. The role involves coordinating work packages, tracking milestones and deliverables, supporting reporting activities, managing communication between partners, and contributing to the smooth execution of EU-funded projects. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project activities, timelines, milestones, and deliverables
  • Support communication between internal teams, partners, and external stakeholders
  • Track progress across work packages and ensure deadlines are met
  • Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, reports, and project documentation
  • Support administrative and financial reporting for EU-funded projects
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and delays, and help define mitigation actions
  • Organise project meetings, workshops, and dissemination activities
  • Work closely with technical, research, and business teams to support delivery

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in management, engineering, computer science, economics, or a related field
  • Experience in project coordination, project management, or research administration
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and stakeholders
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Fluency in Italian
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or project management tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with EU-funded projects, Horizon Europe, or collaborative research grants
  • Understanding of technology, cybersecurity, IoT, AI, or digital innovation projects
  • Experience coordinating multi-partner international projects
  • Familiarity with reporting, deliverables, milestones, and grant documentation
  • Experience working in startups, universities, research centres, or innovation environments
